Lego Design 2 Entering grades 4-8 This class will focus on building Lego Vehicles with Lego Technic elements from the Lego Educational Division. Your child will gain an understanding of how wheels, axles, levers, and gears work together to make vehicles move. The children will have the opportunity to hook up a motor and a battery to their vehicles and race! Using some of the math and science concepts learned in school and in this class, your child will build Battlebots out of Lego materials from the Lego Educational Division. (S)he will work with a team to create vehicles that will compete in the battle ring! Your child will learn about torque, tension, force, friction, and compound gearing. Bring your imagination and your competitive spirit, this class is high-speed fun! Monday, June 23rd, Tuesday, June 24th, and Wednesday, June 25th from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Washington School Cafeteria (door #1) Minimum 8/ Maximum 12 $87.50 for three sessions. **Cost includes a Lego kit to take home!
