Bring out your inner spooky spirit with the dark and misty, Witch Swamp, watercolor piece. With instruction from watercolor artist, Caroline Porter, students will master both wet on wet and wet on dry watercolor techniques. This 8x10 inch artwork is perfect for beginners to intermediate level. Learn how to elevate your piece with background splatters, swamp grass details, and birds flying in the distance. To help students gain confidence, everyone will get to practice on scrap paper before working on their final artwork. Students will also choose their swamp color (examples show green and pink versions)Materials: Paper: Strathmore 300 Series Cold Press 140 lb. Brushes: Round size 6, 8 and/or 10 and/or Fine Liner Brush Size 0-1 Watercolor Paints: Winsor & Newton Cotman Series. Instructor will provide all necessary materials for this class, however, if you would like to use your own materials (i.e. paints or brushes), students are more than welcome to bring their own.
