    Topics are as follows: (subject to change depending on needs) October 17- Nouns, Articles and Adjectives October 24- Ser, Estar, and Subject Pronouns October 30- Hay, Interrogatives, Days and Months November 7- Numbers, Dates, Times, and Weather November 14- Regular Verbs November 21- Irregular Verbs and Modal Auxiliary Short-cuts Class time will be spent practicing vocabulary, practicing authentic accents, completing work sheets, and reading easy selections that coordinate with the lessons. There is also a practice app available for practice daily. Worksheets will be provided.
  • Acrylic Pour Painting

    If you enjoy getting creative with paint, this class is for you! Come and learn how to make your own beautiful, unique paintings using acrylic paint pouring techniques. All materials will be provided. You can choose to paint on an 8x10 canvas, a record, or a set of four 4x4 ceramic tiles.
  • Chillin’ Out with Young Living Essential Oils

    Ice cream and Essential Oils together? You bet! Come and chill with me as I take you on a roller coaster ride by adding Young Living Vitality Oils to your favorite dessert. There will be vanilla and chocolate ice cream with lots of toppings for you to enjoy with a variety of oils to add to your taste buds. Included in the cost of this class: lots of education, NingXia Red packet, popsicle mold, a roller for tummy support, an Orange Creamsicle Aroma Teaser, as well as the opportunity to enjoy ice cream with friends. And as always, I will be offering Itovi Scans and help with ordering.

    Have you ever wondered what specifies of tree that is you walk by everyday? Want to be able to identify the trees found on your property? This class is for you!! In this course you will learn about some species of trees and how to identify them. There will be a brief introduction on trees before we look at how to identify various species of trees. You will spend time in class identifying tree samples, You will also learn about some things to look for to check the trees on your property. Some free materials will be provided in class and some resources will be on display for you to look at during the course.
  • Norwegian Treats from the Nora Church Kitchen

    For decades Nora Church (Hanska) has served a popular smorgasbord of Norwegian delights on the first Sunday in October. Women from the church will teach skills in making krumkake, rosettes, lefse, sandbakkels, and flatbread. Recipes and samples for rommegrot, Scandinavian meatballs, Norwegian rice pudding, and sweet soup will be shared.
  • Stained Glass

    Participants will learn fundamentals of glass cutting and copper foil technique. You will make a stained glass panel or lampshade of your choice. Class will be held at Sleepy Eye Stained Glass, 135 East Main Street, Sleepy Eye.
